    I recently reformatted, transferring my entire music library over to an external. After I added it all back into Itunes, I now have about 20gb of duplicate tracks. I know there are programs to delete them, but they all cost like $30. Anyone know a good program to delete duplicate music tracks from Itunes.

    View Menu ---> Show Duplicates

    Then you can use the select all command and delete the copies.

    obviously... so delete the Duplicate copy.

    For a computer there is no such thing as duplicate.. both are original for computer.

    You have to decide which is the Extra Copy..

    Go to sort: Date added.

    delete the ones which were added later..
