There's a site which I use pretty often. It's free and you don't have to register. www.media-convert.com
The only negative thing about this site is that it's very crowded and you will be placed in a queue. It can take some time but it's worth it in the end. -
nah i dont want to upload that things i want to convert :x
will try the format factory.. but i guess it wont be able to make iphone ringtones -

I use ANY VIDEO CONVERTER it converts almost anything to anything, including music tracks. Its free but if you upgrade to the premium version you can make ring tones and you also get a choice of more formats to chose from.
cheers -
Try Mediacoder or Super Converter
Both are free and have profiles for all Mobiles and PMP's -

Cons- does the 1 thing you want....flv to mp3. -
thats a big con
mediacoder doesnt support iphone ringtones.. didnt tried the other one yet.
thanks guys, if anyone knows a converter which can make iphone ringtones tell me please -
Personally, I just use mencoder on the command line
But I'm a Linux weenie that finds that media munging is just easier on Linux than on Windows. If you want something insanely powerful that does everything under the sun, you do want mencoder. But it ain't gonna be easy.
You're asking for complex behavior... you're going to have to learn some more complex tools. For a ringtone, you probably want to get an audio editing app that will let you edit an mp3 file directly, and cut out the 30 seconds you want as the ringtone. For the flv to mp3, I'd go with the tool MegaMan X linked to. That's probably about as easy as it'll get.Last edited by a moderator: Feb 2, 2015 -
