hi all. i'm planning on reinstalling everything soon, and i think what i want to do is make a new partition and install on that partition so i don't have to get everything done the same day... (dual boot of XP, i'll continue to use my current OS installation until everything is tweaked)

my question is- what program can do this? i only have one (c: ) partition currently, and don't want to lose any data creating another partition. is there a freeware program that can manage this?

edit: i tried out gparted. it rocks! i had to select "force versa drivers" to get it to work, and it worked like a charm.
