i use it for streaming video because it's quicker than firefox.

Google chrome, Internet explorer 8, Opera is among the fastest browser, much faster than firefox on my quad core desktop or my netbook.

The simple interface also looks pretty cool

I also use Opera, Chrome, and IE8. Opera feels "snappier" although Chrome loads Gmail faster (big surprise...), so I use it for that only. I do like the simple interface though.

The Most Visited Sites feature is pretty much a copy of Opera's Speed Dial...

It's good but I feel bad using it as I am contributing in slowing Firefox's growth.

    dilemma no ?

IE8, Opera and Chrome is basically the same in terms of performance. So which browser you use pretty much comes down to your personal preference. BTW.. IE8 also have feature similar to "speed dial" for favorite sites.

It's a decent browser, but I'd rather use FireFox with all of my extensions which really expand it's functionality.

Things such as NoScript and DonwloadThemAll are not available for Chrome.

I use Chrome, I like the simplicity, because my websurfing habits don't require much. I visit some tech sites, some science sites, and then I hang around notebookreview.com for awhile.

Also, you can't beat the built-in ability to download YouTube files. It's number 4 in this link.

i love CHROME.. been using it since the day one..and only few times if i recall it has stuck..but never crashed..

yea..two times it has forgotten everything (settings) and went back like a virgin ..
and speed dial..hope they improve it and make more unfriendly..i do want to put thumbnails of only which i visit daily..or customization..
add-ons.. i wouldnt mind if they make few add ons available for it also.. i was always hooked on STUMBLE-UPON.. but more or less, thnks to Chrome..now i dont waste much of my time on that.. :p)

apart from these issues.. i love the way it is.. CHROME RULES

Chrome is just so much faster then anything else. Opera I'd say is a close second though as I recently gave it a whirl and was surprised. Still prefer Chrome though as I seemed to have more website compatability issues w/ Opera then w/ Chrome.

Firefox, which i used to love, now is so damn slow, and IE8 seems really slow to me too.

Like usapatriot said. There are so many useful add-ons and extensions for Firefox. I've tried all the others and until something more useful comes out I'm sticking with Firefox.

My system is kept very clean an well maintained so the so-called "memory leaks" do not effect me.

The only reason I don't use Google Chrome is that it doesn't work with AVG LinkScanner Pro, which scans into sites tha show up on search results lists from Google, Yahoo, and Live Search to check for possible or actual malware. I prefer to be safer than faster. Use LinkScanner Lite on I.E. or Firefox for free: http://www.explabs.com/products/ Don't know if it works for Opera.
