    hanging starup with vista

    I have recently been getting a hanging startup on my loading screen. It just stays at the loading screen but if I do boot up insafe mode and then restart in normal mode it works fine. any ideas?

    Have you looked in the Event Viewer logs?

    If you have a vista install cd run startup repair from that to see if it finds and fixes any probs. Bet as AKAJohnDoe above said check the Event Viewer logs, before you do.
