    having trouble playin .mkv files on XP

    i hav a couple of files in .mkv format and for some reason whenever i play them using VLC player, they lag, the picture starts to get pixelated and then just freezes. the sound however continues playing lol. i don't get this problem if im playing anything else...

    how can i fix it? ive tried reinstalling vlc player but that didnt help...

    or just use regular media play and use klite codec pack. it works perfect

    if you have c2d or equivalent, it shouldn't be problem and correct codec should be fix that
