    he reformatted my local disk D!

    i asked a friend to restore my system to factory because of problems i had with the intel driver and he went into my computer, right clicked local disk D and reformat it. i taught he was doing it right but now we can't do the factory restore anymore. not even a system restore. what can i do to fix this?

    Hopefully that works for you... if it doesn't, your next course of action is to contact the manufacturer and ask for an OS reinstallation disc. They may charge you a fee for "shipping" (it's exorbitant often), but they should be able to do it for you. And get your friend to pay it, since he was the one who screwed it up.
