This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     help - no wireless after tweaking services

    i tweaked my services and now i don't have wireless, does anyone know which ones i should have enabled?

    i'm using vista home premium, thanks in advance :)

    Go to your services menu, Towards the bottom there will be 2 services< one will say Wired connection or something like that and right underneath it there is another that will say something like WLAN turn that one back on. I would put up a screenshot but I'm not at home.

    thanks rob, i messed around loads and eventually got it bk on, after all that messing abou i only managed to cut down my processes by about 10 :(
