clear your history.

there 2 easy ways to solve this problem:
1) create a separate user acct for that other person, and he/she won't have access to your search/browsing history
2) assuming you are using IE7, go to tools-internet settings, and on "general" tab click on "delete" button under "browsing history" -
I've tried all that.
I deleted the history, ate up the cookies and even deleted the temporary files but that thing just refuses to go.
And for the "create the sep. user a/c method"..afraid cant do that..would arouse too much suspicion(if u know what i mean).
and unfortunately the guy(who's gonna use my comp.) knows more about comps than me and infact i have a feeling that he's coming for inspection(hmmm...) so he can inform my parents about what i do on my comp. which will in turn ruin all my hopes of getting a new g1s...ok that was boring.but still..just wanted u guys to get a feel of the situation. -
Which browser are you using?
If Firefox, go to Tools > Options. On the Privacy tab, uncheck the "Remember what I enter into forms" box.
You could also just use the Clear Private Data feature... Ctrl+Shift+Del or Tools > Clear Private Data. Check everything.

It's Internet Explorer6, still using xp.

When the list comes up just put your mouse over it. Dont click but just select it. Then press delete.

Install Firefox pronto then change it to default broswer and ditch IE shortcuts?!
then it might buy you some time to clean up IE.. -
Download CCleaner. Run CCleaner. There is a setting for search history (I believe). All I know for sure is that whenever I run it, nothing shows up in the search box afterwards.

looks like an old case of the pron
-- ccleaner removes search history I believe
