    help to get rid of os selection screen

    i booted up windows with a.. external harddrive with windows on it... once. and now everytime i boot up it gives me a screen asking which os i want to load.. is there a way to get rid of that?

    Yes!

    Start-Run-type "MSCONFIG"-select tab "BOOT.INI"-click on "Check All Boot Paths" and your problem should be solved.

    Then post how you did find it, and it will help others. I've been doing it that way for 2 years now, and it has always solved that problem. Glad you did solve your own problem, cheers!

    wel its what you said, but you're not on vista?! probably.. its just msconfig, "boot" tab, then itll give you a list of the os that you get to choose from, one of them says current os;default os.. the other one wont..

    just click on the one that doesnt and hit delete!
