How come the firewall forgets my allowed programs every time I restart my computer? Please help![]()

Ofcourse. That's mainly why it annoys me.
-
And 'Remember this answer' is ticked? Hmm this happens to me, but only for 2 programs not sure why, cpu-z and hwmonitor.
-
Because Comodo simply doesnt remember - thats been a big problem for last couple of versions.
Turn off the Defense+ and those popups will stop. You will still have a great firewall - it just wont have the UAC-like defense against "unknown" programs -
Defense+ is disabled. It's the firewall that is causing me problems here.
-
Ok this is the 'Component Monitor' section. This could be turned off..

Is this version 2.4 or 3.0? If it's 2.4, it's a known bug. It just forgets trusted apps over time. You can try deleting the app rule and re-creating it again, this could help fix it.

Version 3.00.22.327
Thanks for all the help so far btw -
Btw did you ever run 'Scan For Known Application'? This automatically include all known components from comodo's db into the list.
-
how do you do this?
-
Open the main window. Click on 'Security' in the upper left corner. Then click on 'Scan for known application'. The application will ask to restart it as soon is finished.
