I have never had that problem. When you hit allow, do you tell it to always allow?

Because Comodo simply doesnt remember - thats been a big problem for last couple of versions.

Turn off the Defense+ and those popups will stop. You will still have a great firewall - it just wont have the UAC-like defense against "unknown" programs

Defense+ is disabled. It's the firewall that is causing me problems here.

Is this version 2.4 or 3.0? If it's 2.4, it's a known bug. It just forgets trusted apps over time. You can try deleting the app rule and re-creating it again, this could help fix it.

Btw did you ever run 'Scan For Known Application'? This automatically include all known components from comodo's db into the list.

Open the main window. Click on 'Security' in the upper left corner. Then click on 'Scan for known application'. The application will ask to restart it as soon is finished.
