    Hello,
    I downloaded and installed jkdefrag gui.
    in the general tab, what's the best action to select?
    also which should i select for debug level?
    and what does the free space do? do i select 0%?
    i'm sorry i did read the help provided but it didnt help much.

    I would say the degfault setting is enough for most of us :D 1%

    I usually run it with the default setting.

    I don't use the GUI version though, so can't be more specific. But with the command line, I first used the -a 7 option to sort by name and since then, I just use the default setting... its more than enough, most of the time.

    I agree default setting is best for most situations. (A picture of the default settings are attached to this post.)

    yes, when it says "Finished" on top, you can close it... make doubly sure you see 'finished' on top.
