This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    help, links wont open in full screen

    or if i click on my Internet Explorer icon in my Taskbar, a new window wont open up in full screen. they open up in a real small screen, so i have to manually open them to full screen.

    anyone know how to fix this

    using Vista Home Pre off a Dell notebook

    Right click on the IE icon, select Properties. Go to the Shortcut tab, and in the drop-down list below in Run, and select Maximized. Press Ok.

    Done.

    Or, open one explorer window, adjust the size and any other properties then close it. Wait until these settings are saved (a couple seconds or so) and the next one you open should open to your last settings.
