    help.....cursor jumping all over the place

    Hi, dont know if im posting in the right place so dont shout at me if i'm not :D

    my cursor jumps everywhere when i use my ac adaptor its okay with the battery. after about 10mins of the adaptor being plugged in it starts going daft, as soon as i pull the connection its fine but my computer only lasts about 20mins now on battery. can someone help plz :D :D :D

    try:
    switch usb ports
    delete mouse from device manager and reboot
    switch mice

    Is that on a laptop trackpad?

    Sound a lot like a static issue to me... what kind of laptop, maybe other users have a similar experience with your model.

    Also, iare the power supply and the laptop properly earthed?

    it would also be worth while to install drivers for your trackpad (if it is a trackpad). Windows default drivers tend to be more sensitive. Specialized trackpad drivers will let you turn down the sensitivity.
