Does anyone know a nifty little way I can make a "hide all desktop icons" short-cut? I know there's a way to do it manually but I want to be able to bind the function to a shortcut so I can show/hide desktop icons at whim...

    anyone?

    edit: I'm using Windows Vista

Why not consider using a dock? It's better looking and you can hide it when you don't need it.
    I recommend RocketDock...

If you want to hide them all can't you just select them all in a huge box and pressing delete?

You wouldn't be able to get them back though. I'm not sure if this would have helped or not. Do tell me if it didn't and I'll try to help more.
