Is there some way to make all my gadgets hidden and make them show up when I press a button? OSX style? I find that more convenient than keeping it all on my desktop...

I don't know of a shortcut to hide the sidebar, but you can hide it with RightClick>CloseSidebar.

You can show the sidebar with Win+Spacebar. This will bring the sidebar to the front, whether it is closed or just hidden under another window.

I meant just a way to keep all the gadgets hidden, and to have them come up with Win+spacebar.
