From whom are you trying to hide your torrenting?

uTorrent has a great little feature built in called Boss-Key. It will hide the uTorrent window on pressing of a key combination, as well as the system tray icon.

Go to uTorrent, Options > Preferences.

In the 'General' Tab, click where it says 'Boss Key'.
Now, on your keyboard, create a key combination (I use Ctrl + H).
Hit OK, and try it out.

Be advised though, as if you use a keyboard shortcut that is already mapped to a different program (such as Ctrl + T in Firefox), it will activate uTorrent as well.

Well, at least you're honest, for which I'll give you credit. On his computer, or on yours?

More importantly - is he paying for the connection, or are you? Remember if anyone comes a knockin', they won't come looking for you - they'll look for the person who pays the bills!
