    i know theirs websites out their that will test my virus protection i was wondering what they are or if their are other ways to test it....

    You can use EICAR Test string to check you have OnDemand AntiVirus Protection

    Code: 
    X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*
    Just Open a notepad , copy & paste the above line and save the file as <filename>.com or .exe

    hehe Then you better change your AV fast :D but some AV don't report these kind of Virus .... they seems to delete them without the user consent whatsoever :rolleyes:
