    hi im a moron. i without thinking switched my hard drive from basic to dynamic and now i can seem to figure out how to switch it back. everything is backed up but im hoping to save as much of my data as possible. Any help you can offer would be great and thank you in advance for your help

    Odds are, you'd simply be better off backing up your data and files, formatting the drive, and starting over again.

    There are any number of discussions on how to do it that come up as hits from googling on partition convert dynamic-disk to basic-disk; some examples include:
