    Hi guys,

    Can anyone tell me this:

    1. In terms of Gaming performance(more specific: FPS), how much better a 8gb RAM perform over 4GB RAM(both 1333MHz)?

    2. Is 4GB RAM enough for WIN 7 64bit system?

    Thanks!

    None.

4gb is usually enough for most people.

Yeh, there is really no difference.

Although Starcraft II uses A LOT of RAM and I only had 400 megabytes free while playing that game.

Doubt you would see a rise in FPS as that will be more graphic card related, memory may help the games perform a bit better if they require lots of it and a SSD will help to increase load time a lot too.

Latest drivers for your graphics may give you a bonus in FPS as well.

No difference in gaming and the reason to that is most gaming industries have to make games compatible for Windows 7 32-bit users and since the 32-bit version can only support so much ram (4GB) the gaming industries try to limit the intake of ram to 4GB or under.

The higher the settings of the game, the less of a difference more RAM will make, because the GPU (and to a lesser extent, the CPU) increasingly becomes the bottleneck. So, if you're playing at the maximum settings your computer can handle, there will be essentially no difference.

Unless you're heavily multitasking in the background, there will be no difference. If you don't need 8GB for everyday use, gaming shouldn't be the reason to upgrade.
