    how much hard disk foe vista

    ok this is one of the reasons im thinking about ditching vista .

    i have 34.9gb space left out of 93.1gb i have posted a pic of all my installed software
    and i have no video or music files on this hard drive .

    to me (but im no expert) it seems a lot of hard disk pace for the amount of programs
    i have installed .

    could someone please look at what i have installed and see if you think it seems normal thanks
    this is all installed on my laptop

    System restore on vista eats up around 15% of ur free space,you can change that though


    Click start>type cmd in the search>Right click on cmd.exe>select Run as Administrator

    To display size system restore is already taking type :

    vssadmin list shadowstorage

    To resize it type:

    vssadmin resize shadowstorage /on=C: /for=C: /maxsize=7GB

    set the max size as you wish but as far as i know it shudn't go lower than 5 gb,i set mine to 7 gb

    as you can see i have 10.376g of shaddow copy om my e drive , whats shadow coppy . the only things on that drive is my music and movies

    as for c drive 5.046gb shadow copy .

    would everything seem in order to you .

    like i say in above post to me it seems like im using alot of space for vista and the installed programs.
