since the last update, my laptop takes over 1min to boot, when it was booting in 40sec prior the update..

    My question is :
Is there a way to have a log or report that would show in order they were executed all the software that vista is loading during boot time. I i can have a report showing the start time for each process, that way i would be able to know what process is taking too much time....

    thanks.

Control Panel>Performance Information and Tools>Advanced Tools>View performance details in Event Log

Also, up above the options, there should be a Performance issues section with some things you can improve.

Furthermore, you can defrag and organize your boot files with these simple steps:

    1) Open Notepad
    2) Paste this text in it:

    3) Save as a DefragBoot.bat to your Desktop
    4) Run

Thanks to ScuderiaConchiglia for this.
