how to download online streaming video?

What is the simplest way to download streaming video's online (usually flash), Left clicking and choosing "save link as" doesn't help and there's no "save target as"....and is there a way to change it into some kind of format so that it will play on my phone?...(free programs please

 

I use RealPlayer to capture live streaming video. What RealPlayer does on default is have a mini-option which appears in the upper right hand corner of any video being played online, and gives you the option to record it. It works for vidoes on YouTube, and any other site streaming video recorded or live. RealPlayer is a free download.

 

RealPlayer 11 Beta can download streaming videos such as Youtube and what not.

As for converting for mobile phone, I think Aimersoft makes that kind of stuff. I've used their Pocket PC Video Converter which worked well .

 

Firefox has an extension called UnPlug that will download video.

 

RealPlayer is the best at the moment. I was using Firefox plugins until I found out about it. RealPlayer was pretty smart as this feature alone has everyone installing their software again.

After downloading , if the file is a FLV format, any more free programs to convert to another format for my phone.
And i hate realplayer but i have to download it again!!??

how about downloading a interactive flash online? Am trying to download a small flash game (jake's Romp) but there is no download button on the website to download. Is there anyway to download this??

Google FlashGet. It will download Flash files and is a great torrent client as well.

so...this is the new making of the real player again? everyone used to have it before..but then it basically sunk...it's back again?

 

does real player work with "interactive" flash games?. The game is romp and its flash and i want to download it such that i can play on my computer even without an internet connection.
