Has anyone found an in-depth tutorial on how to get the two working together? I am getting pretty tired of just how many problems i get with win10. i have my old boot drive that doesn.t work with the new machine, but i would definitely want to just get my hands out of the stupidities of windows 10. I remember my old system being the most stable system ever and the handling of background processes was more effective as the os did try to pull ********. Im just tired of win10 so I want to go back with my new hardware.

You need an ISO with usb 3 drivers integrated, and Simplix update pack downloaded from My Digital Life. I have an ISO created by @Mr. Fox that has most of the drivers you need integrated, but you need to have your own key to activate. After install is finished you need to run the latest Simplix pack update before you do anything else. Very easy to install Windows 7 with Ryzen.

Thanks Man that seems to cover all points.

Edit: do you have some links, Im really green when it comes to this stuff. Also what is an ISO? I have some extra windows 7 ultimate keys that I got from ebay. Oh, and i was looking at anandtech's article on this and tried the ps/2 method which ended up just screwing with me as i just hit a bunch of problems. One last question, sorry for my stupidity with this one but is there anyway that I could use my original windows 7 ultimate to make a new system?

Yes, I will post some links for you after work today. An ISO is a compressed image of software that is mountable or burnable. If you want to use your original Windows disc you will have to convert it to an ISO so you can integrate usb 3.0 drivers on it.

https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...egrate-hotfixes-into-win7-distribution.45005/ This is simplix pack which has all of the Windows 7 updates. INSTALL first even before drivers, or connecting to the internet

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25476/Windows-7-USB-3-0-Creator-Utility This will integrate USB 3 drivers into an image..

https://rufus.akeo.ie/ This will create a bootable flash drive for you to place your Windows 7 image file on

We need to be clear here as well. The link also gives a how-to W7 but that is something I advise against since support for W7 is already going to ending.

Also I like to info here that Win10 isn't what one makes it out to be. And if your W10 isn't Pro then the problem of configuration makes it tricky but my W10 experience using FCU 1709 has worked out well and all my family computers are now W10 FCU 1709 + updates. So unless there is specific issues to be had with W10 makes a single generalization without know one know how and what are the problem and if there was attempts to work out the problem will not help here.
