    how to make one partition and install W7 on external hdd ?

    I replace hdd for ssd in m laptop and add second hdd.Now I have original hdd which was in laptop from factory.It has two partition (one for recovery).I format each partition but now how to make one partition? I conncet that hdd via usb (external).

    Later I want to install new system from factory restore dvds.Can I do this via usb port?
