How can I make my system be a two factor authentication to get into windows, either to decrypt a drive or just general login?

I've read articles where people used a USB flash drive instead of TPM to access a machine encrypted with Bitlocker. Such as this one.

I wouldn't recommend this though. Putting the fate of your data into a flash drive seems frightening. If lost or broken you'll lose the encryption key indefinitely.

You could just set a BIOS password and a Windows password.
