hi guys, i currently have an acer laptop that has a 250 GB hdd with only one drive: C. currently only the OS and drivers and a few programmes are install on C. however, i wish to partition it to have a D drive as well. i wish to partition it as C drive- 80GB and D drive the remaining space

is there any way to do that without reformatting everything?

    Defrag your drive first

Go to Disk Management, shrink C:, create a new partition.
