    how to switch @ key and "Key

    i just got a new HP laptop. when typing i realised SHIFT 2 guves me " and SHIFT ' gives me @. these 2 keys have basically swapped.

    can any 1 help??

    This is because you have Uk Keyboard settings for a us keyboard or the other way around, try going into the language settings and changing the keyboard settings.

    Control Panel -> Regional and Language settings...

    It can also be changed from the Language bar, though you'd have to add a US keyboard if it's not there already.
