    Here you go:

Intel Pilote USB 3.0 PCH 8 Driver 2.5.0.19

If that doesn't work, then go to: Easily explore your PC

Let it install the browser add on, then it will scan your system and find the missing driver or any updates for old drivers

it is 100% free, requires no registration, and always gets the right drivers unlike some other driver updates which get you irrelevant drivers

by the way, why did you downgrade from 8 to 7? Windows 8 gives you faster reboot and startup and shutdown times.

If you install an application such as StartIsBack (the best start menu replacement have tried out of all the others) to get the start menu back, it will look like 7

Another beating a dead horse more dead...that all relative in talking terms. Systems nowdays are fast enough and those with SSD will perform the same reboot or shutdown with either W7 or W8. So let's not get ahead of the horse and cart here. You will never notice that reboot or shutdown on fast machine nowdays - enough to say one is truly faster or slower.

Any chance you can share the network controller driver, I've tried a few with no luck so far.

    thanks!
