This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    in the latest developments (for me) i discovered that hotmail FINALLY added SSL functionality to their service long after gmail did.

    that took a while but its here. now its just left for adding a login IP log like gmail and its golden.

    the one that has yet to implement any safe computing measure is yahoo. the clock is still ticking

    do you mean login or every page ? I am still seeing http:// after I have logged in. access to key area was https:// for quite a while as far as I can remember.

    you have to go into options under privacy to activate it.. it is noobed up by default
