according to the mindump, the BSOD was caused by sfilter.sys--this is not a standard windows file and I am unable to find any references to it via google other than a prevx report which says the file is under review.

Do a search for sfilter.sys (c:\windows\system32\drivers), right click, choose properties. See if you can determine any information about it.

i've checked the properties. it is signed by qiwang computers.

i did a search and its the developer of perfect uninstaller, which i do use.

are there any other information that can be drawn from the minidump file?

only that things the time statement is wrong and it seems to be looking for the file in c:\programs files\perfect uninstaller....if not there, windows should automatically check in c:\windows\system32\drivers after failing to find it there if your path statement in environmental variables is correct (and I am sure it is)

My guess is a bug in perfect uninstallaer.
