wow so i have never been a fan of internet explorer to much. I always stuck to firefox. I tried IE8 and its really fast and actually blocks more viruses then firefox. I think firefox needs to launch an firefox x64 edition and there would be no comptetion. Now with IE8 being so fast with supporting x64 i think i may stick with it for now. i have tried the unnoffical x64 edition of firefox but it has to many bugs and no flash support

well depends what site u search u wont get viruses ;) ..........well its all about user opinion in this matter i happen to use the 64 bit and firefox i think both are coming together nicely due to the fact that they are being used most commonly now most of my friends use firefox and IE8 x 64 i gotta say though Microsoft is doing a very good job now with IE8 lighter on resources, better security, faster load times, good lay out,and best of all free........IMO :)

I think theres a 64-bit version of FF called Minefield, never looked much into it though, don't think it's officially supported. I'd make the switch too, but alas no 64-bit flash yet, so I'll stick with IE8 x86 for now.

My firefox works out of the box, I just use plugins to make it run better. ;)

Oh wait, just in, IE8 now has a plugin page, ZOMG!!!!! hmmm, I wonder where they got that idea from?

Majority of the people didn't even know there's such things as plugins until Firefox promoted it.

You guys are all confusing me. They are called extensions or add-ons, not plugins.
