Is that software bad for the notebook? I mean can it ruin the notebook?

no, its awesome. It works when you tell it to and you can turn it off with observer mode. I turn it on when I play games so I don't have to risk overheating and lag/choke (I put in a 7800gtx in my i9300).

If you uninstall, everything is fine. The program is completely safe and highly recommended. The only thing that may result from running your fans more often is dust, but a little can air takes care of that. :)
