    Hello,
my thunderbird inbox is around 1.9GB and i have around 5GB free space in my disk so after running the defragment i got a notice that few files were not defragged due nonspace error or nospace error

i said no need to defrag them

i opened thunderbird and noticed that only my inbox has 0 emails and all other folders and sub-email accounts has emails normally

would the nonspace or nospace error for files delete them or what ?

please its urgent, if i want to restore that file what can i do, any restore software to restore that file ?

using T43P if that helps any tools that fits lenovo or so
    Thanks

Wow man sorry to hear :(. If the system restore doesn't work try this (It may not work, since how the file was deleted is in question, but it won't hurt to try):

    Recuva: http://www.recuva.com/

The Thunderbird directory is this (for mine, for you just switch my name with your windows login name):

    C:\Documents and Settings\Greg\Application Data\Thunderbird

Try to recover any folder & file within that directory. The exact directory you'll want (again, on mine, adjust yours according to your setup):

    C:\Documents and Settings\Greg\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\obh60n1m.default\Mail\Local Folders

    The files within it are:

    Drafts.msf, Inbox.msf, Sent, Templates.msf, Trash.msf, Unsent Messages.msf, Drafts, Inbox, msgFilterRules.dat, Sent.msf, Trash, Unsent Mesages

There may also be a directory called Inbox.sbd. Also recovery anything you can from that directory.

You can find the exact directory for you by opening Thunderbird and opening 'Tools' >> 'Account Settings' >> 'Local Folders' >> 'Local Directory:'

Back up your current Thunderbird directory, then overwrite the Thunderbird directory with and directories you may have found that were applicable.

I hope you have success. In the future I suggest using MozBackup to back up all your emails... Just incase this ever happens again.
