I use iTunes from time to time to transfer music to my Nano and I also like to use the visualizer in it...
But starting a few days ago it's been very very slow. Where coverflow used to just glide, now it struggles. Overall the feel of it is very very very slow. I updated it to 7.6 hoping to fix it, didn't help. Any ideas? Thanks guys.

I've spoken about similar issues I've encountered in my thread - http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=210363
Seems as if it's an inherent problem with iTunes, in other words bugs and memory issues. -
Oh I see. Doesn't make sense though, all of a sudden it starts getting memory leaks? For the past couple months iTunes has been working like a charm, now it's slower than molasses. Doesn't make sense. Thanks for the link, I checked it out, but nothing really helpful.

There are definitely bugs in iTunes still.

Same here. I just updated to 7.6 yesterday, and not only cover flow but just simply scrolling through the library list in plain text mode makes it looks like I'm trying to run Crysis at full settings rather than a relatively simple media player.
I've seen many other people claim they have no issues with iTunes in Vista, which means this gotta be something like a combination of iTunes itself and perhaps specific hardware or driver combinations on Vista. -
What graphics has everyone with issues got then?

I am pullin an 8400GS
The thing that is baffling is that it was PERFECT like 3 days ago, even before the update. I swear it's like Steve Jobs sent out a flier to their programmers to release a "f the vista users" release before MacWorld. -
I've got a X3100. I love iTunes as well but there is so much they could do to improve it

Yup. You using Vista? I think the problems actually lie with iTunes. I don't think they are anything to do with the IGP.

just downloaded 7.6, hopefully is quicker

Let us know how you get on with 7.6
