Having windows check online does nothing. I removed iTunes and reinstalled a more up to date version, and I get the same error. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

I had the same problem, but simply rebooting solved it... if you reinstalled iTunes and that didn't work, I doubt rebooting will.

Try running it in XP compatibility mode?

Well, I tried using the old version, I tried rebooting, I tried XP Compatibility, nothing seems to be working. Any other ideas?
