OKAY OKAY ITS FIXED!!!!!!!!!! I called Dell, and I tend to talk to the same gal b/c I'm part of the apphiliate/buyer thing, and as usual, she helped once again...i basically had to uninstall (on Device Manager) the CD/DVD writer and a few of its Entries (Primary and Seconary) and then reboot...it recognized it...iTunes and Winamp are now burning ultrafast and no more clicking/popping noises and i can now play SIrius while I burn...

    how easy was that?

    Congrats Loose.

I would have never thought about uninstalling that, but glad to know that you got it fixed :)
