This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Slightly old news, but I thought this was worth sharing. Microsoft has approved iTunes for download via its own app store. If you are an iDevice user on Windows, this is the one to have because it doesn't come with any of the extraneous garbage that's part of the standalone version you download from Apple. No iCloud, no nagging from Apple software update, and best of all no Bonjour, which is completely unnecessary and drags down system performance.

    I don't think so Robert. I never saw that feature there. NOW....If we could only get apple to let us pay for imessage and facetime apps for windows computers...It would be great. Thanks! I would pay 50 bucks to have both of those on my w10 computer. Hell even charge a small fee like 3.99 a month for access to them. They could make millions a year by doing this. Offset the fact that iPhone sales are dropping.
