This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     iTunes video?

    How do I put .avi videos unto iTunes?

    I think you need to convert them. As long as Quicktime can play them, and you have all the codecs, they will go in the library, but won't sync on your Ipod.

    For that, you need to convert them. There are a ton of free, online converters out there.

    Two of my favorites are:

    Media Converter
    Vixy

    But there are a lot of ones you can download, but I find the online ones work just as well. No downloading necessary.

    You will need to convert them to a playable file such as mp4 using a third party program such as AVS video convertor ... its free but does stamp their site on the video for the first minute or so till such time you buy the package. There are others out there as well. ;)

    Converter is the way to go I love Media Converter, simple as hell and gets the job done.
