Styles XP, stardocks.. etc. You can download or make your own themes to apply them to your desktop.
You can use windows steady state to lock down everything including, C drives, system files, almost all unnecessary things. You can also deny every other website besides the ones that's suitable for your daughter. Also, you can uninstall norton and lock your hdd. That way, you won't have norton wasting yoru system resources and you'll never get a virus..etc. -
yeah but i use it at times and im the admin so i want nortons on there anyway. i want to be able to boot to her name and then its set up for a 5 year old

norton 2009 doesnt use much system resources anyways, so it shouldnt be a worry

exactly.. i want something really fun looking and with only icons for her web sites and she like type in notepad... and maybe for her mickey game icons

steadystate should make it possible to configure your system to be closed down, and it's completely free. we use it for kiosk-like systems and other.
it doesn't bring another theme, though. but that should be findable -
You can use the built-in parental controls to lock down access to stuff like the file system and specific programs. Then hide all the desktop elements for that limited account. From there, you can create a new desktop environment using something like AveDesk or Samurize - essentially just place big icons on the desktop pointing at things that the account does have access to.
