    inspiron e1505 HDD locked???

    i hava a dell inspiron e1505 and i was just browsing the internet and it gave me a bsod and i thought nothing of it because it happens and now all the sudden when i boot it up it gives me this message: here is an attached picture, i have called dell and they gave me a few passwords and none of them work and they said the only thing i can do is get an enclosure for it and use it as an external. please someone help me with my problem there must be a way to not have to buy a new hard drive.

    have you tried typing your password? if its still new send it to dell for repair

    There may be ways to circumvent the BIOS password, but in any case we can't really help you; Dell is your best bet for solving this issue.
