Whenever I'm typing on AIM or YIM, every 5-10 minutes, it will freeze up, and I won't be able to type for about 15 seconds, then it will start working again. I can still recieve messages in that time.
Also, if I put the computer in stand by, and then turn it on again, it will put a little dot for the first digit of my password then just freeze up for 10 seconds before continuing.
I've noticed the problem ever since I updated SpySweeper.

Can you confirm by uninstalling spysweeper? Because obviously if its that, its one or the other (unless there is a fix)

i haven't used aol-brand aim in years, but i remember them having some sort of rate limiting, where once you'd sent x messages in y time, you'd be unable to send anything for like 15 seconds, but you could still receive.
