have found a add on at the internet explorer and have found out from the internet that it isnt too good to have it. Have disabled it but it still remains there. How can i rid this, does not show up in control panel but spigot did which i think i uninstalled. Think it has something to do with ads being put on the browser but not certain

It sounds like you have malware.

Some free programs that get rid of it are:

    ADWcleaner
    Malwarebytes
    Combofix
    Rkill

start with ADWcleaner and if that doesn't remove it, try the others. you can download them safely for free here:

Unfortunately, Microsoft make the explorer inside the program and you can't remove it.

As long as it disabled it won't harm you.
