Hello friends, i want to share internet from my pc (which has wifi but is connected to the adsl modem by cable) and my notebook. Both are running windows 7. when i create an adhoc connection from my pc, my laptop sometimes connects and sometimes takes too long to connect or sometimes connects but does not have any connection to the internet.
Basically the pc has both ethernet and wifi. It is connected to internet using the ethernet cable and i want to share the internet using wifi but adhoc does not work at times.
Is there a software which will allow me to share my internet from my pc to my notebook? Thanks.

Are you using one as a sort of wifi hotspot for the other?
Using a process like this Turn Your Windows 7 PC Into a Wireless Hotspot would work, though I guessing that's what you mean when you say you're using adhoc networks.
In terms of particular software that do it, for pc to pc I'm sure there is software out there but I haven't needed to do anything more than the process linked above. -
Thanks mate, I was doing Ad-Hoc. I have found out about a software called connectify. It's pretty cool. I can share my internet with the click of a button. It also allows my windows phone 7 to connect (ad-hoc does not allow this). Overall i'm happy.
