I am wondering if I can have the whole set of North America satellite pictures on my computer, instead of slow browsing on google.
or you think i need a supercomputer w/ 10TB to do so?
-
IDK about Google but NASA has a similar freeware program called World Wind that allows you to cache rather large chunks of the world.

what i really asking is that can i have the whole map in my computer? instead of loading online every time.
-
You can expand your cache to 2 GB and/or use multiple caches.

Sure, you can!
First, you need to find a 200,000 square foot warehouse with a good air conditioning system.
Then, get a lot of money and start shopping for servers and storage.
Then, find techs to install the system and administrators to maintain the database for you.
Yep, that is the ticket! -
I think I found what you need:
Google Maps Downloader 4.75

Another thing you might need:
