For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I want this HIM album "Ultra Rare Trax," I'm unable to find it anywhere else and I'm sorry for asking this here. I didnt know where to put it. So is mp3ninja.com legal in USA?

    The legality of that site is debatable. It's the new version of AllofMP3.com - a site that was shut down by the Russian government.

    It's pretty obvious that the site is also based in Russia, with the numerous typos and incorrect grammar on their "help" pages. I wouldn't expect customer service from them.

    Just because a site charges you for a download doesn't make them any more legal. It's if they pay royalties that determines legality.

    now, this can be discussed. The first site got shut down because:
    . not enough $$$ was going to the music industry, not that they did not pay.
    . their download setup was not up to "music industry" standard, allowing back door p2p download (sounded familiar? napster ....)
