pci parity error on bus/device/function 00F0h

got this error on bootup of a TM 8000.
Tried to backup files using norton ghost. Ghost won't recognize the C: files but it recognizes the acer D: and tech partitions.
If I can copy some data and .doc files to cd (no floppy on this computer) I can use the recover cd or send it back to acer for their $450 fee to fix it.
    Thanks!

If it's not under warranty I would take the drive out and put it into an USB caddy and hook it to another computer. Get you files, and reformat the thing.
