The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Every software you have tried? Or any in particular?

    A quick google search showed me two people with your problem that finally got it solved: one didn't know how it happened, and the other one uninstalled completely the software and reinstalling it solved his problem.

    Try to do a complete uninstallation, delete the program from Control Panel and run CCleaner to free the unused files still remaining (regular clean + registry), delete the folders that haven't been deleted yet. Download the .exe file from a "reliable" source (as reliable as possible) and install it again.

    Hope it gets solved. :)

    The programm was uninstalled before already, but, to be sure, i checked for any folders and files manually - nothing. Run CC.

    Unfortunately - same thing.
