I recently got a weird problem in my computer. Some how my windows security option automatic updates is off. I turn it on and it says i have to do it on control panel. I do it there with the option and its on and still has the small icon in the side of the automatic updating windows off. The weird thing is when i disable it goes back to autmotic updates is on. But actually its off. I can't update my windows at all. Also i did some command that windows said to enable it mscedg.com (something like) and i do the following options. I do an option where it says to set windows from disable to automatic and even with that it won't let me enable it gives me an error 1058( i am not sure i am not at the house right now). I am worried that its a virus. My antivirus tells me everything its ok, but something tells me my antivirus didn't catch it correctly. At first it says said it was in quaranty a file i was going to install so i said it was safe, but somehow i don't think its safe. Any thoughs solutions. I am planning to reformat to be on the safe side i just want advice maybe someone knowing if its a virus and an easy way to get rid of it.
