in theory, what would happen if i accidentally downloaded, installed, and ran jk defrag 64 bit version on a 32 bit vista OS with 64 bit processors?

ok thanks. just wondering. because i have 2 laptops, one with 32 bit vista and one with 64 bit vista. i have jk defrag on a flash drive and installed it on the 32bit version of vista last night and ran it this morning. it installed and ran just fine but i was just worried about which one i had running and wondered if it could potentially () up my computer... so if it installed and ran correctly, all is good correct?

jk like any other defragger just accesses windows api functions. so if it would mess up, then before actually touching any of your files, because that's done internally by windows itself. the defragmentation tool just tells window "that goes there". windows moves it, then.

so anything that goes wrong on a defraggler just may result in bad fragmentation, nothing else.

but yes, a 64bit exe can not be run on a 32bit os. vise versa, yes. and i don't know how far a 32bit defraggler would come in a 64bit os.
